Ginormous and disgusting bed bug billboard goes up in Times Square--directly over the Flash Dancers gentleman's club. There are so many "special" souvenirs you can take home from your trip to NYC. Tourists beware!

“A lot of people still have that stereotype that libraries are just books,” Mr. Parrott said. “We’re a lot more than that.”

Just books? JUST books? A librarian that apologizes for the presence of books in a library is in the wrong line of work.

Ottendorfer is now just a row of computers being slept on by the homeless, with a few tatty books in the back. Tompkins Square is packed with books and is much used and loved. Books, books, and more books!
